Identity

Intellectum has an annual journal which publishes articles, treatises, interviews, poems and short stories. It was launched in 2006 by the “Scientific Team Intellectum” and has published fifteen issues to date. The editor-in-chief of the journal is Victor Tsilonis. The printed version is in Greek, while the electronic version is bilingual, with many articles and interviews available fully in English.

Intellectum Journal is a proud member of Eurozine. Eurozine is a European network of journals, Eurozine, in which participate 79 of the best cultural journals in Europe. Its articles are listed in international databases such as Copernicus Index and Digital Open Access Journals.

Eminent personalities worldwide, including the president of Yale University, Richard S. Levin, professor emeritus of criminal law of the University of Cambridge, Andrew von Hirsch, and professor of ancient history of Princeton and former vice-rector of Heidelberg, Angelos Chaniotis, have contributed to the journal.

Moreover, the journal hosts frequently a lengthy interview with a prominent figure. Thus, interviews have been published and posted online with the former Attorney General of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Carla Del Ponte, with the world-famous political scientist Ernesto Laclau, the philosopher David Oderberg, the forensic anthropologist Sue Black, the Scottish writer Paul Johnston, the professor of political communication Richard Katula, the famous professor of international law and human rights William Schabas, and the dean of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Ioannis Mylopoulos.
