On 7 May 2011, the very first event of the Intellectum Journal in Athens took place at IΑΝΟΣ central bookstore in Athens (24 Stadiou str.), in order to celebrate its five-year history.
In the ‘intellebrating’ event spoke:
- Victor Tsilonis, lawyer & editor-in-chief of the Intellectum Journal
- Chatziiakovou Vasilis, director of the IANOS bookstore
- Sophia Giovanoglou, doctorate in law, publishing advisor of the Intellectum Journal
- Sotiris Pastakas, poet & founder of www.poiein.gr
- Vassilis Alexiou, assistant professor of literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
- Charalambos Tsekeris, doctorate in Sociology and visiting lecturer at Panteion University
Shortly before the ‘intell-brating’ event an art exhibition with the works of Dimitris Karlaftopoulos, Lila Agrafioti, Vasilis Karkatselis, Gogo Grigoriadi, Argyris Liapopoulos and George Nesis took place, while at the end Jargon from ‘Verbal Delirium’ gave a fabulous 30-minute piano concert.
