Nancy Angeli studied initially journalism at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and since 2008 she professionally works as a translator of literature from Spanish to Greek and vice versa. In the past she has collaborated with the Centre of Byzantine, Cypriot and Modern Greek of Granada, as well as the International Institute of Translation (InstitutVirtualInternacionaldeTraducció) of the University of Alicante.
Selected translations of the great contemporary Spanish poet Angel Gonzalez have been published by the web magazine for poetry “Poiein” ( www.poiein.gr). Moreover, Nancy has collaborated with the literature magazine Planodion for the project “Bonsai Stories” and finally edited/translated the selected work of the famous Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti (http://bonsaistoriesflashfiction.wordpress.com/). Lately, she has started translating a novel from the Latin America which will be published in Greece by the prestigious Kedros publications.
Contemporaneously she writes her own short stoires and collaborates with non-governmental organisations all over the world. She lives somewhere between Spain and Greece.
